MYNGA [minga] was formed in April 2014 by Philipp and Simon, two 22-year old music producers and DJs from
Munich, Germany. Both started out producing music under different aliases (Philipp as one part of the duo
“KlangTherapeuten” and Simon with his solo project “Simon Lechner”).
At the end of 2012 they met in college and found out that both share the same interests as well as the same
huge passion for electronic music.
“KlangTherapeuten & Simon Lechner - Symbiose” was their first collaboration and got released in March 2013
on George Morels imprint “Groove on Records”.
It received huge recognition and was played all over the world from TOP DJs such as Bakermat, Robin Schulz as
well as on Ibizia radio stations. In the following months they decided to join forces focusing on the new
founded project MYNGA.
In September 2014 their long awaited single “Back Home” with the berlin based singer Cosmo Klein will be
released. Cosmo Klein is proofed to be one of the most outstanding live acts and singers in the electronic scene
with Nr. 1 airplay and charthits in several countries, over 20 million clicks on youtube and up to 200 shows a
year on every continent.
“Back Home” is a track about the love of one's native country with early support by Klingande, FAUL, Thomas
Jack, Gamper & Dadoni, MÖWE and many more.
